PREVENTIVE HEALTH CARE IS IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE - Dr Basavaraj K.N, Deputy conservator of forests Mysore.

HEARt (health education and rehabilitation) organisation conducted free screening medical camp for forest department staff at Aranya bhavana on 16/5/24 during 9 am to 2 Pm in collaboration with Rotory club of Mysuru West, Narayan Hrahidayalaya hospital & New diacare centre & ASG hospital. BP and blood sugar screening, eye checkup and cardiac health screening were conducted to around 130 forest department employees during the camp. Medical camp is Inaugurated by DCF Dr basavaraj K N. In his inaugural speech he spoke about how health is important to each and everyone & has urged regarding the need of early screening in lifestyle disorders. He has appreciated the HEARt organisation for continuously promoting socially useful productive works and mentioned his best wishes for the future noble works of HEARt organisation in this regard. HEARt organisation founder & president shri Shivkumar spoke regarding the importance of preventive health care measures to be taken by forest preserving soldiers though they are fit and fine in general. He emphasized the need for early screening and appropriate action to be taken especially for the genetic disease and lifestyle disorders.
